The solution to this million dollar question ultimately depends on what market you are trying to target - of course the more competition within market, the greater amount of keyword phrases have already been dominated by your competition and the harder it will be to out-position those pre-existing pages.

The skill to outrank OTHER sites that are actually more related for a particular keyword, could this be regarded as sneaky and evil?
